L’artiste, du duo Art Orienté objet, retrace ici l’origine, le déroulement et les conséquences de la performance biotechnologique artistique « Que le cheval vive en moi » : une autoinjection de sérum de sang de cheval. Cette expérience radicale, abordée ici d’un point-de-vue autant artistique que psychologique et anthropologique, interroge frontalement la responsabilité individuelle à travers la notion d’altérité. Elle propose un élargissement de la définition de conscience humaine par une tentative de perception de l’extra-humain, animal en particulier.

Interspecificity - On “May the Horse Live in Me”

Marion Laval-Jeantet (artist of the duo Art Object oriented) explains the origin, the development and the consequences of the artistic biotechnological performance “May the Horse Live in Me” : an injection of horse’s blood. This radical experiment questions the individual responsibility through the notion of otherness, proposing an enlargement of the definition of human consciousness on trying to get a perception of the extra-human, especially the animal.
