Avant-propos sur les sociétés de clairvoyance

Surgeon explicite d’un texte de Deleuze (Post-scriptum sur les sociétés de contrôle), cet article tente de montrer l’émergence d’un nouveau type de «  sociétés  » fondées sur le contrôle préventif du temps. Non réductibles à des techniques de surveillance policière, les «  sociétés de clairvoyance  » ont un fondement imaginaire qui doit être vigoureusement contesté. Car aucune société n’est viable sans part d’ombre.

Foreword to the Societies of Clear-sightedness

A continuation of Deleuze’s Postscript on the Societies of Control, this article attempts to show the emergence of a new type of societies, based on the preventive control of time. Irreducible to the techniques of police surveillance, these societies of clear-sightedness rely upon an imaginary of transparency, which must be contested as such, for no society is liveable without obscure corners.
